This is the privacy policy of Hundscheid Lawyers.

You share your personal details with us, consciously or unconsciously. We consider it important to treat your personal information with the utmost care. To this purpose this policy explains how we treat your personal information and which rights you have. Hundscheid Lawyers processes personal information in accordance with article 4 of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Personal information consists of all data that either directly or indirectly can be used for the identification of natural persons.

Hundscheid Lawyers uses:

  • For concluding an agreement to perform services, as well as the relevant administration thereof (not always will all below mentioned information be recorded):
    • Your name;
    • Your address;
    • Your date of birth;
    • Your Citizen Service Number (BSN-number)
    • Your telephone number and your email address;
    • Your bank information and your payment details;
    • If you are under age, the information of your legal representative.

Hundscheid Lawyers needs this information for the execution of the agreement to be concluded with you or the performance thereof. Therefore the basis of processing this information lies in the execution of the agreement (art. 6 paragraph 1 subsection b GDPR).

This information may be passed on, in full or partially, to judicial authorities or other government agencies, as well as to third parties (within the mandate provided by you to Hundscheid Lawyers). E.g. the counsel for opposing parties, experts, and “normal” other parties. There is no intention to pass on information to a third country or an international organization. Hundscheid Lawyers does not make use of an automated decision making process for which the personal information might be used.

This information will be retained by Hundscheid Lawyers no longer than is necessary for realizing the set objectives for which the personal information was collected, taking into account any legal obligations.

Hundscheid Lawyers only uses functional cookies for optimal performance of the website. Hundscheid Lawyers does not register the IP-address of the visitors.

If personal information is processed at all, then the underlying principle of this processing is the fact that this is necessary for attending the interests of Hundscheid Lawyers within the meaning of art. 6 paragraph 1 subsection f GDPR (optimal performance of the website and security).

With regard to any processing of your personal information you have the following rights:

Access to and rectification or erasure of the personal information or restriction of its processing, as well as the right to object to its processing and the right of data portability.

If the processing is based on your consent, the right to withdraw this consent at any time. You may withdraw your consent by informing us via email or letter (for contact details, see above). Hundscheid Lawyers reserves the right to verify if the notification of withdrawal of permission indeed originates from you.

In case of any complaints regarding the information processing by Hundscheid Lawyers you may file such complaints with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. For more information, please visit www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

You have the right to receive definite answers from Hundscheid Lawyers regarding the processing or non-processing of your relevant personal information and, if Hundscheid Lawyers processes your personal information, to inspect the personal information recorded by Hundscheid Lawyers and the information within the meaning of art. 15 GDPR, as well as to obtain a copy of your personal information that is processed by Hundscheid Lawyers.

You have the right to receive from Hundscheid Lawyers a prompt rectification of your relevant incorrect and/or incomplete personal information, all of this within the meaning of art. 16 GDPR.

You have the rights within the meaning of the articles 17 GDPR (right to oblivion), 18 GDPR (right to restriction of processing), 19 GDPR (Hundscheid Lawyers’ obligation to notify in case of rectification, erasure or restriction), 20 GDPR (right of portability of data), 21 GDPR (right of objection) and 22 GDPR (the right not to be submitted to automated processing).

You have the right, in case of a data leak that would probably constitute a high risk for your rights and liberties, to be promptly informed by Hundscheid Lawyers of this possible infringement of your personal information, if and in so far as required in accordance with art. 34 GDPR.
